![]() I'm not sure what the guy that made the "berrynes" did differently, but perhaps someone more tech savvy than me can figure it out.īasically First you need the J2ME version of VNES available for free download from vampnet. and so far this is what I have learned by lots of searching and whatnot, I havn't got it quite working. ![]() So I set out to try and compile this thing myself. But I figured that it being slow wouldn't matter all that much for an rpg game. the screen is small, it plays slowly, and you cant add games. and the rest of the functions really didnt do anything. example W = up S=down A=left D=right K=A L=B and start and select etc etc. Push your blackberry button for the menu and hit "keymap" and map each key you want. Then when you go to play, you'll have to input the codes for the registration under the "activate" menu, then go to play the game. So to install it you just open up your blackberry desktop manager, click application loader, click browse, locate the ALX file, next next so forth and its loaded on your blackberry. the crack to unlock the demo to the full version. the alx file used to install the program via the application loader in the blackberry desktop manager. If you're interested in trying this so far, what you do is find the download at pinstack, download the zip file, unzip the file. and there is no way to add/remove games to the compiled program. But on my tour with the speed setting at 9 and the keys mapped in a way that controls it easily. The good thing about this is that it actually works! However it does run a bit sluggishly. If you do some searching you can find the download for this at after registering. This seems to be a recompiled version of the j2me version of vampnet's vnes "shoehorned" to work on a blackberry. So as you all may know there is what is called "berrynes". I caught myself thinking this just a couple days ago and figured I would give it a search. It really would be sweet to play some nes. ![]()
